Cumberland Springs

About

We share God's Word with children and teens through summer camps and retreats.

We also make our facilities available to churches and other groups.

Camp presents many opportunities to learn and grow physically, socially, and spiritually. As we lead activities, we teach campers new skills and challenge them to try new things. Our small group format encourages campers to meet new people, work together, and build friendships. Most importantly, we share essential truths from the Bible and show campers how they can know God and live for him.

Every member of our friendly, caring staff commits to setting an example of Christian love through service. Our Group Leaders make special efforts to connect with campers throughout the week. Many staff members have long attended our camps and have now joined us to help new campers have a wonderful experience.

We want every camper to feel welcomed, to make friends, and to have fun. More than that, we pray that every camper would hear God’s Word, respond to the truth, and go home a changed person. All glory be to God!

What we believe

  • The Bible is the inspired word of God and the final authority on faith and practice.
  • The one true God eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • God, the Creator of all, has created human beings in his image.
  • Humanity fell into sin and is in need of God’s salvation.
  • Jesus, the eternal Son of God, became human, was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on a cross for our sins, was bodily resurrected, ascended into heaven, and will come again.
  • Salvation is the gift of God received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • The Holy Spirit indwells believers, teaching and guiding them in truth.
  • God’s power keeps believers secure in Christ forever. Christians can have assurance of salvation.
  • Those who trust in Jesus will live with God forever, and those who reject Jesus will spend eternity separated from God.
  • Jesus calls his followers to spread the gospel and make disciples. Christians must share God’s truth and show God’s love to all people.
  • God has created each person as male or female. God has designed sex only for marriage, which God has established as a covenant between one man and one woman.
