The Knowing God’s Word campership program gives children and youth an opportunity to learn scripture and
earn a partial scholarship for overnight camp.
A campership covers half the cost of one week of overnight camp, a value of $130. Camperships are funded
by donations from CSBC friends and supporters.
Camperships do not apply to day camps.
Each year, our scripture memory course focuses on a book of the Bible. This year we have compiled a list of
verses from The Acts of the Apostles. Acts tells how Jesus's first followers boldly shared the gospel message
throughout the world by the power of the Holy Spirit. Today, the Holy Spirit indwells every follower of Jesus.
We hope these selected verses will equip and encourage you to share the gospel with others.
Campers who register for the Knowing God’s Word campership program must recite all verses from one of
three verse lists, according to their grade level:
Grades 2-4 - Level 1 - 24 verses
Grades 5-7 - Level 2 - 36 verses
Grades 8-12 - Level 3 - 48 verses
Your child should recite verses to an adult hearer outside of your family (neighbor, friend, church worker).
The hearer will sign a Recitation Log, which you will need to turn in when your child has finished.
All Campers must recite all verses from their list by Sunday, May 31.
To register your child for the Knowing God’s Word campership program, complete the form below.
Before you register, please read through each information tab below.
Register your child by Friday, February 27.
We encourage parents and children to learn these verses together. Memorizing scripture is for all ages!
